My History with Motorcycles:
When I was 6 years old Santa Claus brought me a Honda 50 for Christmas. At 5:00 a.m. that
morning I started riding and I haven’t stopped since.  I rode dirt bikes until the end of 2002, when I
purchased my very first street bike, a 2000 YZF R6. At that time I began riding with Dangerous
Curves, an all female riding group, who introduced me to the sport of motorcycle drag racing. Within
a few months of racing I broke the female record for quarter mile on a street-bike in the State of
Hawaii.  A 10 second quarter mile just wasn’t fast enough for me so when another racer, Sheldon
Tokuda, asked if I wanted to ride his 2001 GSX-R1000 I took him up on the offer. On my 3rd pass I
ran a 9.9 on a bike I had never even ridden before. I bought his bike 2 weeks later!  My best time on
the GSX-R was 9.23 at 147 mph, and it is still the fastest quarter mile time for a female on a street
bike in Hawaii.
